My Journey Chasing Light and Time

My photographic journey began in 1985 on a road trip with friends to the Pacific Northwest to go salmon fishing. I bought a Yashica 35mm camera and lens kit from a catalog and down the never ending road of exploration and learning I have been on ever since.

I got my degree in photography in 1992 from the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. From there I worked in Los Angeles, California assisting some of the top name commercial photographers and learning the business side of being a professional shooter. That on the job education was the driving force to one day be shooting on my own. The digital age of photography had just begun…

Now 40 years later I am still chasing the light… still capturing fleeting moments in time… still dreaming.

A new journey starts every day and I look forward to the challenge and opportunity. TIME STAND STILL
